Very happy with my purchase. I ordered the Steel Shelving. It is super easy to assemble, and the finish look is fabulous. Would highly recommend Hobbs Display if you are looking for light sturdy shelving.

I recently purchased 4 glass black framed display cabinets 120 x 2000mm and also one cabinet 500x500x2000mm The delivery was efficient and I opted for installation which was faultless with all packing materials removed. Their installers were good to deal with.The transaction was a seamless and faultless transaction and I have no hesitation in recommending Hobbs Displays

I purchased the 2.7m X 2 m X .60m metal shelving for my garage. I am very happy with the unit, very easy to instal, main supports are connected by butterfly nut and bolts and frames and shelves just slot in. The unit is very sturdy. I could not believe they were able to pack the whole unit inside my Camry to take home and assemble.

Hobbs display cabinets are great for our museum. They are sturdy, spacious and beautiful. They let us show our history with pride. We love them!

Very happy with the product delivered, and also with the extra effort the delivery driver went to, unloading my delivery to a more secure spot up our driveway and not just left on the verge.

Got 2.5m by 2.4m shelving for $260. Really top notch value. Equivalent Rackit system from Bunnings was north of $700. It’s not the same quality as Rackit, but it’s fit for purpose, it’s solid and the frame held my weight when I stood in the middle of the beams. If you are looking for prestige in your storage solution, look elsewhere, if you want decent storage at an excellent price point, this is for you.

Bought a metal shelving unit from Hobbs Displays and I'm very happy with the quality and price

I have recently purchased shelving and workbenches for my shed / workshop. I had forgotten what good old fashion service was, as it has all but been lost over the past years. I ordered the shelving and workbenches Sunday afternoon, not thinking I would hear anything for a week. But to my surprise, on that following Monday, I received an email informing me that my shelving / workbenches were on the way. The delivery was delivered to my door and the person who delivered it helped me put the order in my shed. I could not have asked for a more professional and coherent team that they have at Hobbs Displays. I would not hesitate in recommending this company to anyone looking for competitively pricedShelving / Workbenches, with the backing of a polite and professional team.

The worst buying experience I've ever had. Zero proactive updates on a custom cabinet, when contacted for the 3rd time was told it arrived last week. Upon pickup and unpacking, the cabinet has scratches on it and no instructions. When asked for instructions was sent very basic information and a video that conflicted with physical instructions so contacted business to be told that they had changed the cabinet so that video was out of date.. so why send it? Then had their installer call me who was helpful and told me I was correct in my questions. Then booked the installer only to be told the day before that he wasn't coming as I hadn't paid an invoice. When I questioned this, the lady started yelling at me so I hung up. DO NOT buy from this shop.Thanks for your reply, yet another example of how you treat your customers. Yes, after paying $1000 for a custom cabinet, having it delivered damaged and having zero instructions then being told conflicting information I chose to be sensible and have a professional put it together. Am I paying before that's done, no chance. I asked for updates along the way as you provided none, a breakdown of the actual number of days excluding chinese new year, weekends and whatever else you want to list is unhelpful.I had to keep sending you queries regarding the cabinet as you sent a video as part of your instructions that you yourself told me was out of date, had no volume and even your installer said you gave me the wrong information.Perhaps if you delivered a quality product and positive customer experiences your reviews wouldn't be so poor. I only wish I'd read them before ordering.

From experience: I strongly recommend that you do not purchase anything from this company. The quality of the product is just not there and when there is an issue they will not take responsibility.For example: we purchased two of the glass display cabinets that come flatpack so we had to pay extra to have somebody come and assemble them and connect the lighting within, which we did. A few days later one of the cabinets caught on fire which I have video evidence of this happening. This could’ve burnt my whole business down.Do not put one of their cabinets in your shop or home as I don’t believe they are safe.Upon contacting them they have refused to refund our money and they keep telling me they want to sort it out well the only way to sort this out is to refund our money and take the cabinets back.I’m not prepared to put them back in my shop not my home nor even sell them to anybody because they are not safe. They will tell you that they have been tested and approved if that’s the case why is the person that’s connecting them is not electrician and why did they catch on fire.Save yourself the stress and money and do not buy from this company even know they are cheaper. Cheaper is not always the best the cabinets are very flimsy and not good quality.
